knowledge of gourd art. She also taught me how to listen to the
gourds and to allow 'them' to choose their own destiny. I know this
sounds crazy, but any of you that have worked with gourds will understand.
When I discovered the internet, I was amazed how much interest and knowledge
was available, so I decided to create this page to share and sell my work. I
especially enjoy drawing things from nature. After cleaning the gourd,
I then sketch a design in pencil, then 'burn in' the intricate details,
giving each a name to remember, then dye, paint or leave
natural and seal with varnish to complete. I have some
gourds available for sale and I am working on more.
I am also taking custom orders. I am truly looking
forward to sharing my new art designs with you.
